We loved the kitchen disco.

Some of the good people in the world put on music as playlists; and some of them did actual discos. There was a Manchester Hacienda one – but I couldn’t log on because of streaming issues. Then Jarvis did his domestic disco, from -11pm on a few Saturdays. He played records live from somewhere or other – beamed it through the instagram – and it was magical. Almost like a disco – but with no other people.

The toilets were nicer.

The appearances of the Flat Eric toy dancing along, or just some sort of rave revolving light, were highlights. I bloody loved this disco.
