Two paintings from Samatha Fellows, NT scenery painter and oft-contributor to the National Portrait Gallery BP award.

Bought in the first couple of weeks of lockdown – THE PAINTINGS OF LOCKDOWN – she did it! – still yet to dry when I bought them. Part of the artists support pledge. And you know how difficult it is to draw hands… and these are so good. I went to school with Sammy – she may or may not remember. I think she is – or at least she used to be – as short as me. She’s extremely good at painting – go look at her website. This was cheery lockdown. Good-painting-lockdown. I am chuffed with these.
